I, Dan Bogdewic of the Page County Republican Committee, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and recommended and directed by the Committee, do hereby issue this notice and call for a Mass Meeting of the Page County Republican Committee to be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the Luray VFW Post 621, 218 Veterans Lane, Luray, VA 22835 starting at 6:30PM with registration beginning at 6:00PM for the following purpose:
To elect the Republican Candidates for the following leadership positions on the Page County Board of Supervisors
Chairman
District 1 Chairman
District 5 Chairman
To select Delegates to the 2021 Virginia State Convention
Transaction of such other business as may properly come before the Mass Meeting.

Qualifications and Participation
All legal and qualified voters of Page County under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or gender, who are in the accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who, if requested , express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meeting, party canvasses, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.
Candidate Filing Requirements
Candidates for election to the offices of the Board of Supervisors shall state their intention, via letter, delivered by mail (Page County GOP, PO Box 501, Luray) or in Person to Grayson Markowitz, Unit First Vice-Chair, at the Page County Court House, 117 South Court St, Luray, VA 22835. The letter must be received no later than 5:00 pm, Wednesday, April 14, 2021. If only one candidate properly pre-files for the nomination for an office then such properly filed person shall be deemed nominated.
Virginia State Election Delegate Selection
All legal and qualified voters of Page County under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or gender, who are in the accord with the principles of the Republican Party may participate as a delegate to the State Republican Convention. To be considered as a delegate, the applicant needs to fill out and submit a “2021 State Convention Delegate Filing Form”. The forms can be mailed to the Page County GOP (PO Box 501) Luray, filed with your District chair by 13 April, or brought to the Mass Meeting on 20 April 2021. Properly filled out Filing Forms will be accepted from proxies at the meeting, but no one will be allowed to vote without a properly filled out form submitted by the adjournment of the 20 April 2021 Mass Meeting.
Registration Fee
Proper ID required. There is no registration fee for the Mass Meeting.
Proper Notice
The Call for this Mass Meeting is herewith published on social media sites, to be in the local paper on 30 March 2021, and forwarded to the Sixth Congressional District Committee. Copies of the Call to be sent via email to all members of the Page County Republican Committee and the Chairman of the Sixth District.
