I, Bryan M. Cave of the Page County Republican Committee, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and recommended and directed by the Committee, do hereby issue this notice and call for a Mass Meeting of the Page County Republican Committee to be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the Luray VFW located 218 Veterans Lane, Luray, VA 22835 starting at 6:30PM with registration beginning at 6:00PM for the following purpose:

1. To Elect the following positions within the Page County Republican Party Unit:
   1. Chairman
   2. First Vice Chairman
   3. Second Vice Chairman
   4. Secretary
   5. Treasurer
2. To select members for the Page County Republican Party Unit Committee
3. To select the following leaders from within the Unit Committee:
   1. District 1 Chairman
   2. District 2 Chairman
   3. District 3 Chairman
   4. District 4 Chairman
   5. District 5 Chairman
4. To select Delegates to the 2020 6th District Convention
5. Transaction of such other business as may properly come before the Mass Meeting.
6. AdjournmentQualifications and Participation

All legal and qualified voters of Page County under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or gender, who are in the accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who, if requested , express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meeting, party canvasses, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.

Filing Requirements

Candidates for election to the office of Unit Chairman shall state their intention, via letter, delivered by mail or in Person to Stephanie Breeden, Unit Secretary, at the Page County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, 116 South Court St, Luray, VA 22835. The form must be received no later than 5:00pm, Thursday, February 27, 2020. If only one candidate properly pre-files for the nomination for an office then such properly filed person shall be deemed nominated

Registration Fee

Proper ID required. There is no registration fee for the Mass Meeting.

Proper Notice

The Call for this Mass Meeting is herewith published on social media sites, in the local newspaper on February 11, 2020, and forwarded to the Sixth Congressional District Committee. Copies of the Call were sent via email to all members of the Page County Republican committee and the Chairman of the Sixth District.
